Conficker Scanners Developed for Detection of Infected Networked PCs

Both the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the non-profit Honeynet Project have developed methods for determining which PCs on a network are infected by Conficker, which makes the work of scanning a system of networked PCs a lot quicker and easier.

The TV market vote: LCD beats plasma

Q: I’ve been shopping for a new flat-screen television. Sets with plasma screens are less expensive, inch-for-inch, than those with LCD screens, but stores have a much larger selection of LCD models than plasma models. I get the feeling that LCD must be better, but it’s hard to tell the difference in picture quality. Any thoughts?
