HP expands recall of laptop batteries

Hewlett-Packard Co is expanding a voluntary recall of notebook computer batteries due to risk of fire from overheating, the company and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Friday.

Lockheed Martin investigates possible link between cyber attack and RSA data breach

US-based global defence firm Lockheed Martin says it has beefed up security around remote access to its IT network after a “significant and tenacious attack” on 21 May, which could be linked to an earlier breach at security firm RSA.

PBS site hacked after WikiSecrets documentary aired

Monday, May 30th, 2011

PBS aired a Frontline episode focused on Wikileaks on May 24, and received retribution as a result. Its site was hacked, late Sunday, by the hacking group LulzSec. Remnants of the site defacing were still around on Monday.
